Really cool. Glad their live show matches their sound. Kinda reminds of MGLA live:

Me neither bruh, didn't even know they played live shows. Would be cool if they did a US tour, I would definitely go.

They have a facebook page now
https://www.facebook.com/Batushka-1004746209548365/

and their own website aswell:
http://batushkaofficial.com/
which I guess is run by their label, Withing Hour. There are some new shirts on their site and in the Witching Hour store you can already preorder another shirt which looks absolutely rad if you ask me.

Maybe even more exciting is that they are in fact becoming more active as a live band. They've played a few festivals in different countries in Europe and are about to tour Poland with Behemoth later this year.

I like the fact this band is banned from Russia and was exiled by orthodox church battle-monks (I am not joking) in Moscow, just prior the concert. It makes this band very KVLT. Both band names and titles are russian words (and for those who did not know there is another famous band named after russian words, eg Voivod = warlord on russian) for most hilarious part. If not the names, i have doubt it would caught so much attention.

Russian orthodox church banned most of the famous black metal band, including Behemoth, since it contradicts their beliefs and they can legally sue those bands. No one wants to stay in russian prison, believe me. Even some of the death metal bands were banned (cradle of filth atleast). I am a satanist and black metal fan, i have to hide my identity and wearing some t-shirts with anything out of that realm will most likely get your head smashed by some biblethumpers. http://www.metalinjection.net/latest-news/drama/behemoth-are-detained-in-russia-by-immigration-services-for-being-evil this article summarize everything what to come if you are a black-metal band trying to play a gig there. You better to be a gay there than a satanist, lol. Im not joking.

You're saying this as if they knew that gays get beaten up regularly on the open street in Russia.
Just look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgm3lb9JUU0
They're just holding hands and get almost beaten up.
If you're really interested, watch this documentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-dDd4dtOFM although I must warn you, it is hard to watch in some parts, especially when they prey upon gay men, fight club style. Had there not been a camera, I'm not sure what would've happened...

Now I don't know how serious the situation is for anti-reigious people, but I definately believe you, Oceandrowned.

Let's just say I really dislike Russia, I'm being diplomatic here, and every band that's banned from entering should be happy.

@JohnFire Thank you for reply, that means a lot for me. Well, problem is, any kind of minority is touched by this, be it anti-religious people, or LGBT folks, it does not matter. People just dont tolerate anyone who is not like them, and they tend to be overly predatory towards those, so being anti-religious(when more than 75% of population are ortodhox christians) here is really very bad idea. Hell, they even call me a freak, when i dont drink vodka due to health condition. Being in minority here can be challenging thing, but we don't give up. Cheers.
