Yeah I learned about them from them opening for a Brand New concert. And they're on the same record label. This album rules, I don't care what others say, it's awesome. Possibly my AOTY.

This album gives me such a Cities-era Anberlin vibe if it were on a moonlit trail (more somber and quiet). Maybe that's why I love it so much. But a lot of Emo can't live up to Cities, so it's a very big compliment.

I always thought Cities was super boring and average

Cities is a 5/5 imo. But I see this more like a mellowed out Anberlin than Brand New but that's just me.

I'm going to guess that Anberlin are a kind of band people tend to like more if they have some sense of nostalgia with? It's a bad thing per-say on sheer principal but idk I never got into Cities

Cities is a pretty average record boosted by a select few great tracks. I was never really into Anberlin before listening to Cities and nothing else I've heard by them has had me wanting to come back, so there's gotta be some nostalgia to it.

they're a decent rock band. sometimes they're classified as post-hardcore which i do not hear at all but they're a nice, melodic christian band. To The Wolves is my fav song by them.

I love the atmosphere on this, but I kinda wish it was a little more dynamic. It's a little too subtle for the incredible lyrics
