I'm surprised this is still front page worthy to be honest.

It says a lot I haven't listened to this cos of Art's 2 compared to everyone else's ridic high ratings

I still haven't been on here long enough to know anything about anyone, but to use one persons reaction as a barrier to what you do seems a little foolish...

The middle of the album leaves very little impression on me. The start and end are great though.

I actually don't think this is as good on the whole as some of their other stuff. Some of the songs jump around like crazy and many of the transitions don't really make much sense musically. ..Which is a weakness that Fightstar has always had IMO, but it's way more prevalent here than ever before.

What saves the album is that many of the passages are pretty badass, even if they don't necessarily fit together that well. The heavy parts hit hard and are satisfying, and all the instruments sound great (including the vox).

I'm not really seeing all the hype here either. It's very competent post-hardcore, and a few songs are really good ("Animal"), but I find the clean vocals quite boring.

Following a surprise hiatus, English quartet Fightstar return with a vengeance on their 4th LP 'Behind the Devil’s Back'. Including metallic riffs & thunderous drumming, this is their heaviest record yet; the raw aggression on display being astounding. Thankfully, they've far from sacrificed those killer melodies, with the dual vocal dynamic & some nifty synth additions a genuine strength. It takes a few listens to differentiate some tracks & may lack the diversity of their previous 2 albums, but with no filler over an extremely lean 37 minutes, fans are sure to love this. Recommended Tracks: Sink with the Snakes, Sharp Tongue, Animal & Overdrive.

I'd move Animal up to 7th and move the rest up. Otherwise I agree, Titan is the best
