Never heard of this band or any songs until three days ago and now I'm overwhelmed that songs like Car Radio and Tear In My Heart even exist.

I can understand disliking "Tear in My Heart" (and even then, I disagree) but "Car Radio" is phenomenal

tear in my heart is like the best thing on here tbh.

it actually is. top songs are probably stressed out, tear in my heart, goner, tv, heavydirtysoul, and maybe not today

yea i mean that one lyric is garbage, and the second verse in general is way too short, but imo it's one of the better composed and melodically sound songs on here

*except for Fairly Local, let's just pretend that it doesn't exist*
|

yeah lyrics about not being on the radio and super obvious pandering to their faux deep 13 year old audience, fake try hard southern rap delivery, and the biggest bass heavy radio friendly beat this side of radioactive
|
| |
doubt is garbage

but yes i agree tear in my heart is great, piano is cute his delivery is perfect, there's a lot of passion, i've got undying love for the potholes part too

I don't mind the cheese (We Don't believe it's a sweet track) what I do really expect for them to change it's how pretentious they have become about the radio and stuff when their songs are so radio-friendly

Tear In My Heart and Goner are da shit

Probably the dumbest moment on this entire album is the part in Mesage Man when Tyler is saying "people think this sounds cool but it's just some lame triplets" while using triplet beats in the production.
I like Stessed Out, Goner, Not Today, Ride, and a few other tracks on here. But in the grand scheme of things this is probably one of the stupidest things this year.
Still adore their other albums though.
