I know, I kid. I just find that whole section really aimless. Which again might be the intent, but I don't fucks with it

i am usually more keen on flylo when he's doing spacey shit so i dig on it. probs why i like UtQC more than most people seem to. But i find my favourite tracks on flylo albums are always stuff like Coronus and never stuff like the first 4 tracks on this or the overly abrasive tracks on cosmo

That's why I dig it so much.

LOL JUST LOOKED AT THE TRACK LIST FOR THIS.
You're Dead!: Cold Dead, Fkn Dead, The Boys Who Died in Their Sleep, Dead Man's Tetris.
There's a subtle theme to this album but damn i just can't grasp it behind the metaphors.

I still feel like FlyLo will never top Cosmogramma. That album was pure unbridled jazzy genius.

if anything, this album is his most "pure unbridled jazz"
but agrd cosmo is da best

I honestly have to hear it a couple times more, so far ive heard it while playing starcraft, so i didnt really pay much attention. But yea from what i remembr this has some jizzy moments

this so hard, word potsy. i honestly don't dig cosmo much- feels like way too much is happening
also UTQC is steadily growing on me with time. so smooth

feels like way too much is happening
yet you love this? i dont get it
|
| |
this is definitely less "busy" than cosmo.

how so? i dont see it at all. cosmo is mostly still "beats" whereas some songs on here border on free jazz and have no structure at all
|
| |
but this album's structure is that it isn't structured, and from what i recall of Cosmo it leapt around a lot of different structural ideas during its runtime that threw me for a loop

Cosmo takes time to figure out but once you do it's completely calculated and makes so much sense structurally

I really like this album and I don't think it ever drags, but there are some parts that do seen to be there only to service as being there. I don't mean that as an insult. It helps the album to flow, but it keeps some songs from going from enjoyable to a cut above.

lol i meant *jazzy* haha
yes this album and ATQC are much more "airy" in a sense. Cosmos meanwhile is a work that makes gorgeous music out of the most random samples like ping pongs and wierd computer sounds. Its a mastered form of sampled innovation.

But this also has moments of brilliant gorgeousness

I take back what I said about Cosmo being more jazzy than You're Dead. This is waaaaay more jazzy.
