maybe I'm just feeling sentimental today but this sounds a lot better than it did before

feels more along the lines of their paper walls/lights and sounds albums in a way, but much more relaxed

I feel like it's their post-hiatus L&S, although not quite as good. Still has a handful of wonderful songs though.

I’ve avoided this record since it dropped because I didn’t want a YC album to disappoint me. Finally going through this and ugh I just can’t think of one positive thing to say. The Deepest Well is a pretty decent tune but this record, 95% of the time, just lacks everything I love about Yellowcard. Gonna try to give it some more spins because I really don’t want to hate a record from these guys

Yeah The Deepest Well I agree with. I wish I felt the same Oni. It pains me to rate YC anything below a 3.5

I don't know. This has more of a dreamy vibe which I dig. Think I may like this more than L&S at this point.

This and L&S are very similar, not necessarily in sound. It's more about the fact that each was a separate departure from their staple pop-punk formula. They each succeeded in what they attempted, but failed commercially and alienated fans. I'll always have a soft spot for both records.

Agreed. This and L&S still have so many great songs even if they don't quite come together as full albums. This one has some of my favourite sonic textures out of the entire YC discography.

Just realized L&S is the only YC album I never reviewed. Might have to rectify that!

In retrospect probably their worst album to feature Key on vocals, yet, somehow it's still excellent.

Transmission Home is the only reason I don't have this 1'd, never heard a single I liked so much and then was so disappointed by the full album.
