Nothing is going to change anything. the album is the album. the band is the band. the average rating is high for the album and the band overall. this can go to 3.7 and nothing has changed. they probably still sold around 50,000 copies in the first week.
Basically, I'm saying if you are a Chevelle fan, you've already won. Chevelle themselves, have already won.

I don't know about you guys, but after the first few listens this got old pretty fast. It's good rock, sure, but the lasting appeal dropped pretty quickly.

Nah, just kidding. Mongi's review's great. The general consensus on this album is that it sounds very different from past Chevelle albums, different in all the right ways, really. Still digging "An Island" and "One Ocean" hardcore.
