Rowan you're certainly right when you say this album becomes more than the sum of its parts by the end, and it is hard to pinpoint exactly why. It possesses a pretty ethereal quality throughout... Man, I remember hearing this album for the first time and being utterly speechless. I didn't take it out of my cd player for months. Makes me pretty nostalgic.
