Can't say I went through a huge LB phase but their debut album is still a guilty pleasure of mine, I never ever cared for Linkin Park but they have a lot of bragging rights, more than LB in my opinion, and some of the production on their first two records are pretty ambitious for a band of their style. I also can't deny that songs like Papercut, One Step Closer and By Myself are pretty catchy.

Come to think of it, I'm not really sure why I didn't get into this album around the time it was released, I was 13 & liked the singles. Maybe it just wasn't what my friends were listening to, I don't know. Maybe I'd have got into metal a lot earlier if I'd chosen to listen to this back in 2000.

actually think with you and runaway are two of the worst on here. for me papercut points of authority forgotten and (obviously) place for my head are the definite highlights on here

I would have this at a 5 too. I do think Pushing Me Away is the one track I don't care for as much though. The Reanimation version however, just daaaayyyuuummm
