Awful Sound and It's Never Over is such an emotional one-two punch. The harmonies in the latter are heartbreakingly beautiful.

can't get the squeaky guitar lead on "normal person" out of my head, ugh

Normal Person rules, love the explosion into the chorus. Regine's vocal part towards the end is great as well.

Review was a tad pretentious but still really great. Loving this so much. The bass lines are especially great.

So I still haven't heard the album, but I watched their performance on Kimmel tonight, and it was such a disgustingly bad ripoff of early 80s Talking Heads I almost had to turn it off.
Bad.

Never really been into this band but the title track is such a rad jam...might pick this up when it gets released. The production is just flawless, reminds me of my favourite 80's new wave bands.

Great Album. But what's more refreshing then the new record is seeing a band with some artistic merit pulling all the bells and whistles to bring excitement back to music. Organizing secret shows in Brooklyn, throwing on makeup to perform Bowie-esque sets, re-inventing their sound with influences ranging from jazz, reggae and post-punk among others when they could have released 4 volumes of Funeral by now, ect. Enjoy the brilliance while it lasts, in a few decades kids will be wishing they could have been around to see Arcade fire when they were at the top of their game.
