this is a very bad review, but I look at it this way. If you or I wrote this, it would be negged to kingdom come and there would be no reasonable defense against the negging. People are defending this review because Eli is staff or cuz they don't like this record.

I didn't read the review -- I was just defending Eli's opinion because people were shitting on the review for the most inane reasons
#1 being "I'm a bitch who doesn't know anything about post-hardcore or music reviewing in general and therefore DGD is GOAT"

as you can see by my rating I like this record, plus I couldn't care less that eli is staff. I enjoyed the review (I really did). oh well. doesn't matter in the end. guess I simply just don't see it.
