Firth of Fifth is amazing. Dunno what my all time fav solo is, might be something as quick as Eruption, Van Halen kills it

Nah, but I loved it so much when I was younger. Wouldn't honestly know what would be my fav solo anymore. There are so many. What's yours, Jamie?

damn dude the thing that gets me about the freewill solo is basically every fuckin instruments doin a solo, the bass is arguably even more technical underneath lifeson omfg it rules and neils goin crazy then when it comes back into the pre chord but lifeson goes up the the c major it makes my neck hairs stand on end

There's quite a few contenders for my all time favourite. Firth of Fifth is one of them, along with the third solo in Dogs. Also Gary Moore - Still Got the Blues, Rory Gallagher - Shadow Play and several Peter Green solos.

Some good calls, Jamie.

Lol, Where the Streets... is pretty sweet :D

Keith Richars' solo in Sympathy for the Devil is pretty bad ass too. Or Duane Allman's solo in Layla with Derek and the Dominos.

Good choices Jamie. Freebird solo which is excellent is about Duane Allman.
