the whole album is remarkably solid, i'd say it's about third in my ranking of alex turner related stuff behind the first two arctics albums and it's by the far the best thing miles has ever done

I love watching Arctic Monkey live videos, but it sucks that they barely ever play any songs on Whatever anymore. They are rumored to play Lollapalooza which would be awesome since I missed them in Minnesota because it was an 18+ show and I'm not 18 until July 4.

On recent Arctic Monkey albums Alex Turner's vocals sound a lot more monotone imo, but they are still done very well. While on whatever he changes his vocals to suit the harsher and softer songs.
