I was talking to FTI dude. And not only has this grown on me over the years, it just represents what alt metal is supposed to be along with deftones: emotional, have great musicianship and have fantastic lyrics. It's way too underrated. Just because they went a bit more nu metal doesn't hinder my enjoyable of some other songs off of TAE they made.

Well 10 Years does tend to be compared to mainstream rock quite a bit and granted there are some mainstream influences, but regardless they aren't radio rock.

Yea I'd definitely say they have lots of accessible elements to their music but nothing they made after this was honestly terrible. Sadly they'll never top this I don't think. So criminally underrated.

Starting the album with Waking Up seems to set the tone for the work as a whole very well. Took a while for me to get into this band, but the more I listen to them (especially this album) the more I really enjoy the music they make.
