if you take out the AMAZING singles from this album (especially My Hero and Everlong, but Monkey Wrench and Walking After You are great aswell) you just have a bunch of mediocre rock songs.

A lot of people consider this album post-grunge, but I sorta see it as the bridge between classic grunge and post-grunge, having elements of both. Lots of Nirvana influences in there (makes sense since Grohl was in that band too)

I have never been able to get behind it honestly. I have never been able to finish a grunge album in my life. By track 2 or 3 I get tired of the sound or I decide there's stuff I'd much rather be listening to.
