,but isn't the point of Punk to play loudly and badly

I'm going to give you a ten minute head start before I hunt you down.

Clearly, you have no clue what the hell you're talking about. The purpose of punk was to prove that a little basic musical knowledge and a DIY attitude is all you need to make good music. It was in response to the increasingly polished rock and progressive music scenes.

Furthermore, hardcore and emo are subgenres of punk. So perhaps you should check your facts before shooting your mouth off. This Message Edited On 08.21.06

What can I say? I have no tolerance for that sort of ignorance. Hell, this guy is sitting on a massive online musical community, and he never bothered to do even an ounce of real research? Jumped up Judas Priest on a plate...

Of course. The HH fanboy. He has yet to figure out that it's pointless to argue with me or any of the other intelligent people here because he will lose. He simply doesn't know what he's talking about, and that makes it very difficult to make a point.

Acey you genius. Steerpike amuses me. He'll call out someone, make them cry, and then a bunch of people congratulate him.

No malice intended Pikey, merely an observation.

I've noticed that pattern as well.

I did concede to the mods to cut back on my temper problems, but there are moments such as you saw a few minutes ago where I really just can't sit back. That kind of ignorance needs to be confronted with brutal, up-front truth.

i agree completely, and if you can back up your points (which obviously you can), i dont think that anyone should have a problem with that. This Message Edited On 08.21.06

Word. That should be like some sort of Sputnik code of conduct.

Yes indeed.

That guy isn't anywhere near the worst though. THere are plenty of other (metallica luvin') fellows who are far more obnoxious and gratuitous than him.

/This album isn't as bad as people make it out to be totally on-topic.

Surely that wasn't reference to me.

I think this is as bad as it's made out to be.

No, it's not. It was a reference to the more typical Metallica fan, like good old ChuckDizzle or whatever his name was.

Yeah, I beat one of them up last night. A secret- Bron doesn't think everyone here who rated this a one has enough experience with it to rate it properly. This Message Edited On 08.21.06

I don't rate it simply because I don't own it. And honestly, after the tracks I sampled, I have no intention of buying it.

the single was bad enough, i thought the rest would be good, but it wasnt

Bronathan was referring to the people who had rated it, though perhaps you knew that and I am stating the obvious. Or something.

I don't know much of this band, to be painfully honest, and therefore can't pass too much judgement on their musical aptitude.
