I'm going to give this a whirl. Never heard of them before. Woe betide Sputnik if I'm not impressed.

Hahaha yes much, much, much better than Forest Poetry. Seriously though this is tied with Buried in Oblivion for my favorite metal album ever.

Alright I take that back, there's no tie. This is my all-time favorite metal album.

It's funny because this album lacks the actual METAL punch. Oh and the singer's got a thick accent on the cleans, doesn't sound too good from time to time.

There are some great parts here though, not gonna deny that.

I guess you're right, but it's still considered a metal album. It has a lot of progressive rock and folk influences though. That's what makes it so great IMO.

It's good. It's just that this album would be better if the metal was better executed; kinda lazy at times, but that's just me.

I don't know I just think that this whole album is executed perfectly. Everything from the instruments to the vocals to the actual concept of the album. It all just comes together perfectly for me.

I was really impressed with this when I first listened, I should give it some more time to sink in.
