Yeah, Krummett has done some gems in his day. Closure in Moscow, DGD's Happiness, Tides of Man's Dreamhouse, A Lot Like Birds' Conversation Piece... All very interesting / dynamic releases from a production standpoint. This will give Icarus the publicity (and care) their music deserves.

I have heard of DGD and A Lot Like Birds, but haven't got into their musics yet.

Hopefully, we will get a song or two before the album is released. OH SHIT. I just remembered they are giving us a two week advance on the digital copy. That is also exciting.

I wonder what they will try out this time.

I want a new single now haha. Band has been getting better and better with each release so I'm sure this album is gonna be fuckin sweet. This and the new Corelia and I'll be set.

I had no idea this band got big here. I remember rec'ing The Spotless Mind so much and never getting anyone to listen to it.

Yeah, Sputnik can be a stubborn bastard. I think this review was featured back when this came out and that's when I started listening. Pretty sure I download their other LP and EP the same day

Yeah, I just happened upon this review and gave it a shot and ended up buying both albums not too long after.

Are contrib promotions only done at the end of the year too?

Nah, just whenever the site needs more writers. Typically happen in maybe 6-8 month intervals.

I hope the vocals and lead guitar chill out a lil bit on the next album. Sometimes the vocalist just needs to take a break but he rarely does and the guitars just feel kinda noodley sometimes without really building the song into something great.

Agreed. Once in a while he can get a little off on his voice and sometimes the overly active leads get a little samey sounding and bleed into each other.

Yeah they definitely put themselves in a box and then thrashed around really hard in it stylistically speaking on this one.

Dead Man's Storm is pretty sweet, it'd be cool to have more acoustic stuff from them on their next album. Houseboat isn't bad either
