I also long for the return of Jim Martin... He's too busy growing pumpkins to rock these days. I just hope I have the $$ whenever they announce US dates - otherwise, back into overdrafts for me...

I remember I used to like The Real Thing more than this, but now I love this one more by a considerable margin

I liked The Real Thing more than this when I was like 15, but then I grew up and realized this was way better :-)

It really is a shame that the only FTM song the average musical novice knows is Epic, one of their worst songs and a track that gets destroyed by every song on this album.

Yep, it took about a week or two to really grow on me when I first got it. It keeps growing forever too... I don't think I realized the full awesomeness of this record until a good 8 months after I first got it.

You know its great if Poopular likes it. Im not sure if I've seen him stand up for a record/artist before.

Actually just got this today, stoked to listen to it. First real intro to Faith, besides of course Epic (which I really don't like all that much).

Epic's a pretty great song, but it's not really all that indicative of their sound in the Patton years. Definitely give this a listen, one of the top 5 records of the 90s in my opinion.
I've seen Poopular stand up for some bands/artists, but very few. He actually got me into Fugazi, so gotta give him props for that. Why the username change Poop?
