See when some of the instrumental parts started on these songs I thought, hey what is everyone talking about, this isn't THAT bad... perhaps mediocre but certainly not all that terrible.... then the singing started. GOOD LORD

To call it singing is perhaps giving it too much credit.

A reputable music magazine does not exist

Modern drummer magazine is reputable.

Thanks for the review.

I only disagree about the quality of Death Magnetic, generally known as "Fagnetic" around these parts. Really good album that does Metallica's classic sound some justice, so to speak.

I am very sad about how all of this has gone down for James et al. Ugh.

A positive spin on an otherwise terrible album.

"I bet Lars still thinks his trash can drumming on St Anger sounded great"

i like that snare?!?! lol (really do though in some songs)

i think this album is pretty good its really weird but i like it any way, idk why? some nice tunes reeds voice doesn't bother me that much, im not a fan of his though but i like metallica in the background.

i think people making out to be much worse than it is (just metallica haters mostly) it's like a 3-3.5 for me so far.

Wow, I love the fact that people like this exist. Sure man, Death Magnetic is a 4.5/5 album. And sure, Load and Reload are "experimental". Are you twelve or something?

Sadly enough, the GrampTallica version sounds better than Lou Reed's rambling.
