"you're missing some essentials if that's true. still, this is a sweet album."

Please share.

"Please share."

In this style of more melodic metalcore, Misery Signals is the first thing I think of. Then, like, Cave In, Botch, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, Every Time I Die... Converge, Dillinger, BTBAM, Protest the Hero if that's your thing. idk, I was thinking mainly of Misery Signals when I said that, though.

Thank you!

Back to the album, I found at first I couldn't stand the constant screaming in this particular album, but after a while I started to hear the beauty in the rare snippets of singing and also the lyrics that gave meaning to them. Then the guitar riffs seemed to get better and I started to enjoy the screaming more. It was much more rewarding to let grow on me than some of the "bad" stuff I listen to.

Well the only reason Jesse was emotional was due to his personal issues where if you listen to his new project (or KSE 2.0) most of that emotion is gone and To the quote

'It's truly too bad that Killswitch Engage did not wait for Jesse to get out his funk and settle his personal issues, because IMO, the band has never been the same since'...

You do realise that Jesse left on his own accord and didn't want to return right?

Personally I prefer Howards vocals but he needs to use less vibrato on very clean vocal he does :D

all he had that was troubling is that he was on the road without seeing his wife. that is a big problem, no way to compromise with that.

One of the three or four good Metalcore albums ever.

Poor song structure and all, annoying vocals at times, but catchy and passionate as hell. Jesse was the band.
