Zozobra is pretty great.
I have liked pretty much every side project with Cave In members that I have heard.

Have any of you heard Clouds (Adam McGrath's side band)? Caleb once called it and solo Steve Brodsky (this was before Mutoid Man even existed) the worst thing he's heard from the guys in Cave In, calling it "nerdy fucking stoner party rock, 16-bit-sounding bullshit" but apart from his very strong hate for it...I have no idea whether it's worth checking out or not.

I went back to look for that interview where he talked shit talked about Clouds (this was in 2008 around the time of the 2nd Zozobra album). The one thing that stands out and makes me believe he wasn’t joking was that he began it by saying he’d normally throw in a sarcastic joke about Adam and Steve but won’t cause he needs to be honest about how he really feels about their then projects and ended it expressing some frustration about the band’s hiatus at the time saying that they (Adam and Steve, ofc) should stop with the “16 bit sounding bullshit and just get Cave In back together”.

It still feels like a joke to me in context with the whole interview, especially because he was the kind of guy who loved to fuck with people, but c'est la vie. He wasn't wrong that they should cut the shit and just get Cave In together again though lol. I really wish we had more records with Caleb to listen to. All the Cave In/OMG/Zozobra stuff just doesn't feel like enough now that I know it's all we will ever have.

He also did a song with The Ocean, Xing. It's on Precambrian and is called Orosirian, if you want to add at least one more Caleb song to that list. I remember the first time I heard it and thinking, "is that fucking Caleb from Cave In?" I dunno if you have ever tried them before, but it's a pretty damn good song.
If you haven't heard it, Beyond Hypothermia also has the debut vibe if you want something else like it, Art.

It wasnt as raw as that Roadburn set though. Understandable given the setting and the timing of it etc.

really incredible set, and it was awesome to see caleb’s brother up there. I still can’t believe they played the juggernaut intro and then went into a different song and then didn’t come back and play juggernaut at all lmfao.
