mostly because the quoted material in most cases doesn't contain said punctuation (e.g. song titles) and it's weird that you would "edit" your source material in ways that don't really make sense, at least to me.
plus it doesn't make sense that we do it with commas and not with semicolons et al. although i guess that has to do with your "aesthetic" argument. but then again when has what is "correct" in grammar been undercut by what "looks good"? (don't answer that; probably tons of instances)

i listened to this once and barely got through it; not for being terrible (though certain songs edge on that) but for being really boring. will probably never listen again. the first 30 seconds or so of "government hooker" are awesome, and i quite like the title track despite my initial semirevulsion

The Fame Monster was actually cohesive and had some solid production. This, from what I've heard so
far; goes overboard on what I call (and hate) electronic 'zzzzzzzzzz bzzzzzzz'.

So now, after a few months, bits and pieces of this work have grown on me. I'm able to really enjoy "Heavy Metal Lover", "Government Hooker", "Scheiße", "The Edge of Glory", and occasionally, even "Yoü and I".
Conceptually, though, this whole thing feels off. But at least these songs are good enough to suggest that she'll come back really fucking strong. I like her enough to want that.
