I'd never put them ahead of Death, but they're really close to Immolation, at least for me. No doubt in my mind the new album will rule.
Need new Funebrarum and Dead Congregation this year too.

yeah that should be awesome...still looking like mad at times to find concrete updates on any new Atheist material too. there have been rumors of a 2013 immolation record too but nothing at all concrete there either, that I've seen at least.
and yeah, how can you not get into immolation??????? I mean diff strokes, but yeah just surprises me you don't dig them

Hmmm I'll definitely have to check that out. About to listen to Symptom's debut album right now. They're streaming it on their Bandcamp. Their s/t EP is awesome so I'm pretty pumped for this.
