listened to it 2 times. Definitely going to take a few more for everything to sink in and see how it compares to the other albums. But its Hecker, so typically its pretty damn amazing.

I love ambient.. But I have listened to this and harmony and just never come away wanting to listen to it again... What am I
missing?
|
| |
his music isn't really that similar to the "classic" ambient sound

Virgins is great but I never feel compelled to listen to it. Ravedeath was the only sound I wanted to hear for weeks.

virgins sounds so cool idk. i've probably listened to it once a day since i got it.

Got to see Hecker live last night. Whole gig was really great, really dug the two supporting acts too though Hecker's set felt extremely short to me despite being 45 mins. Could have easily gone through a 90 minute set tbh. Still a great experience. I'd definitely recommend going to one of his gigs if you get a chance. Especially as it's more about the overall gig experience rather than just Hecker himself (at least the one I went to was).
