i still say skrillex is more...creative then? his beats have more energy and complexity to it which deadmau5 just
doesn't have.
Skrillex is music for a sugar rush, he's like a.d.d. house. Having broken beats doesn't make anything more complex, it just immediately sounds cool because it looks like a flashing light. 4x4=12 aside (because it's a much more "normal" album for deadmau5), Skrillex's music is creatively nowhere near what mau5 is capable of. Skrillex is great in 3 minute bursts (also because that's all he's able to pull off, like most electro), you'll never find him being able to pull off anything remotely progressive

deadmau5 is just sooooooo repetitive. 4x4=12 is terrible. songs that are 5 minutes are just loops with little tweaks and additions here and there.
dude skrillex is so insanely repetitive (across multiple songs, not necessarily single songs)
