Any time someone tells me they don't like Thou or don't think they are all that great, I recommend checking their compilations. The comps tend to have more up-tempo, short songs that rule hard. The lp's are exhaustive, but that's a characteristic that works, imo.

I think Peasant remains my favourite of theirs

The way they work in all those dark melodies without sacrificing on heaviness in the slightest is unmatched on that album
