I listened to this the other night, but only got 3 songs in before I fell asleep. I don't mean that as a knock on the band haha, just that I was really, really tired.

I'll be listening to the album in full on my way home tonight -- the first 3 songs were definitely good, in a 3.5-4 kinda way

Clearly not good enough to keep you awake. LOL. Hopefully you don't fall asleep on the way home tonight or else who knows where you'll end up.

hah! yeah, made it through with both eyes open. Album's definitely got a good sound, but the songs don't stand out on their own individually quite enough for me to give this a 4 yet. Perhaps with more listens...

All At Once is a straight jam though, gotta say

I can see what you mean & would think that it may be the #1 criticism aimed at this album. But I'm a sucker for the catchiness.

@ dinomania: http://www.myspace.com/modernamericantheatre (not a fan of the first song at the top of
the player, but the rest are cool). i've been friends with most of this band since high school. these
are just demos though, their debut cd comes out in a few weeks.
@ davey the stuff i gave you is of better quality.

And of course I'm also a sucker for gang vocals.

If you liked 'All At Once' the best, I presume you would hope they go in a heavier and/or rawer direction next time around.

None of the songs stand out individually because every single one of them is great. Mind blown.

Unsure I agree with that dino. Don't Die Digging & Pull Me In do stand out to me. But yeah, it is a consistent album also.

I think I would dig a more raw/heavy sound from these guys, but they pull off the polished sound quite well too.

You do matter Rosco... I've always told you that.

And LG, you should know I take things literally... So 'Pain' was a 4.5 song & this is a 4.5 album. Makes sense to me.

Depends. Do you like super catchy stuff that you can't get out of your head?
