I only rated it excellent because there are too many skits and songs of him dicking around. I can't wait to see his long future of great music, most likely misunderstood by the mainstream.

I'm extremely hesitant to call OF mainstream. Even in terms of their internet popularity they're going over better with the more indie crowd than the hip hop scene. They want to be mainstream, if by mainstream you mean that they want everyone to know their name

I'd say they're pretty mainstream Dev... I've seen many facebook pages "Favorite Artists: Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Earl Sweatshirt..." which really surprised me at first but doesn't catch me off guard anymore.

deviant, when highschoolers are requesting yonkers on mainstream pop radio stations (it's happening down here) you know it's getting mainstream.

People hear that do that don't really listen to the rest of Odd Future, they just know the name through Goblin. Some of them listen to Earl, but not many.

EDIT: they're on mainstream hip-hop radio, they're discussed by 10th-graders everywhere in the same conversations
as Kanye and Lil Wayne, they were on Fallon and mainstream magazine covers... what's not mainstream about them
again?
(not that it makes a difference, but still)

ummmm so now knowing that they do get playtime on mainstream radio as well as all those other things that have been pointed out you'd be willing to accept the fact that they're mainstream, right?
Are OF fans seriously going to get all offended when they realize this?
