I don't see why this is so hard to believe. This trumps everything I've ever heard from them, especially Division which I think is their weakest album.
The Autumn Effect I loved for the atmospheric and tranquil feel of their rock.
Killing All That Holds You I loved for its just plain awesomeness
This mixes everything i love about 10 Years and adds more elements to the bag.

P#1 - quirky, still exploring their influences and finding themselves.
WWN -Found selves and try to tear your face off with it. Dark and heavy.
TTOT(CDUI) - This might be my favorite album by them, I listened to this album over and over and over...
VS - This album is an odd experience, kinda between worlds, I guess. After their first album, they downtuned more and more each album, this broke the mold, guess it's the stepping stone to Sci-Fi crimes. It's a grower, the songs on here ARE great.
S-FC - Artsy and fun. People say they never changed, from album to album, and are kinda stale now. Noooo. This is different, it was good to see them not stagnating.
My unnecessary commentary, as if asked. Also, I don't know which is my favorite, but it's not Point # 1. Although... "SMA" is incredible.

P#1 - Raw Albini production, aggressive, diverse, Helmet homage
WWN - Refined aggression, darker and slicker, contains some of their best songs to this day
TTOT(CDUI) - Even moodier than WWN, while less consistent it still gives a fresh feel after WWN
VS - Idk, I just find it to be WWN pt. 2, except less exciting. I still like it, but it's my least favorite.
S-FC - Fresh, it rejuvenates their sound, it feels more energetic and hopeful.

I like your summaries, they're pretty accurate. Except I don't think VS is WWN 2, not dark enough, or something. Different feel.

Idk, I guess I meant more that it feels like they were playing it safe.. not a lot of structural change.
That being said, Antisaint rules

Ah, yeah, I agree. It's by far the safest feeling of their albums. And I agree, "Antisaint" was great. The bonus track "Sleepwalking Elite" was rad, too.
So, on this 10 Years album, did I hear him say "antisaints" in one of the songs? I think I read it was "anti fates" on a site, or two, but it sounded like "antisaints" to me....

What're your 3 favorite 10 years songs? (assuming you heard their albums)

Oh, absolutely I have. Let's see.... No order: "Waking Up", "Russian Roulette", and...... Uhm... Damn, this is hard. Between "The Recipe", "Cast It Out", "Actions & Motives" and "Dead in The Water"...
I'm a HORRIBLY fickle favorite chooser, but those I just mentioned are most commonly the ones I'd say. I... think.
You?
