I sometimes wish you'd stay far away LG.
Damn...I thought we were bro's Davey
Oh wait!
;-)
Haha your such a joker.
Honestly it's like I said in your FTL review, it gets old really fast. Unlike this album that still makes my heart skip a beat.

Thanks Alex. For a moment there, I thought I was selling ice to eskimoes, but Parades took over & saved the day.
LG, I'd prefer to be The Riddler. What's my "FTL review? And wtach out for that heart skipping a beat mate; it sounds unhealthy.

Finally decided to give this album a listen to yesterday. It was so good I ended up giving it another full listen through, and then again.

LG, maybe if they'd named the album Forever Total Life, you could have liked it more.
Haha. Good stuff Valle. I was exactly the same. First time around, it was such a casual listen... & then I started to break it down... & it got even better!

Davey, I'm sorry I ever doubted you.
THIS IS GOOD.
I tend to skim over reviews and leave the in-depth reading until I actually have the album to listen to and compare. Everything you say is pretty spot on, fabulous review man. Just one possible correction:
Elements of multi-faceted indie, ethereal dream-pop soundscapes and even complex post-rock are apparent however, with 'Foreign Tapes' exuding a spontaneous nature to many of its outstanding compositions which lessens predictability.
This just reads a little awkwardly.
The guy that sings on "Invaders (Review)" sounds similar to Dallas Green in parts.

Apology accepted Tom... Although, I thought you might 4 it.
Thanks on the review... & yes, that sentence does read awkwardly. I adjusted it heaps of times, but ultimately just felt it was worth putting in all of those adjectives & descriptions into that one sentence. I really didn't want the total review to be any longer than what it is.
Ooh, interesting comparison to Dallas Green. Ummm, not toally off the mark, but I didn't think that initially. Might give it another spin with your thoughts in mind.

It's only a preliminary listen and I'm sure it'll go up to a four with time. I'm not sure which vocalist sings on that track in particular, but I thought the timbre of his voice and his pronunciation were strikingly similar.

Again, I'm going from memory, but I think it was Cunningham. The thing is, I can usually tell Cunningham & Boulet apart easy enough, but the other guitarist sings as well. It's a reviewers nightmare.
Whoever it is, a comparison to Dallas is an enormous complement imo.

Yeah, the more I think about it, it is Dan Cunningham on that song... But he sings elsewhere a lot too.
