I love the opening to Glass Arrows. A friend recommended this band to me today, I think they are pretty sweet.

Yeah, but there seriously have been like 10 users make their first post in this thread, and they all seem to just be bitching about how they don't like this for whatever reason.

ok...maybe i really dig the vibes i'm getting from this album. i can only assume the sound was influenced by commercial interests, but i would like to believe that this is still genuine. i like this more than on letting go, but hardly as much as juturna.

oh, and you honestly think that being on this site longer than others makes your opinion worth more? whats to say that a new user hasn't had years more musical experience than you?

I wasn't referring to you when I said that sailSAway. Also, I never said anything about my opinion being worth more, nor did I even criticize the opinions of the people who don't like this. I was just commenting on a trend.

Yeah, it probably just seems that way because I changed usernames, not a big deal though. Plus, it seems like all the users with '09 join dates already have a lot more comments than I do so whatever.

Frozen Creek stands out right now, but that could be still just because the album version destroys the shitty acoustic versions I've seen videos of. Other favorites are Glass Arrows and the entire second half haha. Through the Desert Alone all the way to the end is a fantastic line-up of songs.

knott, i agree his lyrics are impressive, but i think we can all feel it, we just can't express it as elegantly as he does. Green has an exceptional mind for packaging his thoughts into words.
