The Wild Hunt and Burden Of Tomorrow are the two best songs on here, in my opinion. I thought I was the only one Waior.

I actually don't really care for Kids on the Run all that much. King of Spain/Love is All is where
it's at.

I don't get this album. It's good, but it's really nothing special. Overall, it sounds like something Dylan would have done much with a terrible budget.

I find his songwriting style pretty different from Bob Dylan. It's mostly the vocals that sound similar.

It is notably different than his, however, the vocals are so similar that it's difficult to not make comparisons. It's so blatantly obvious who his influences are.

I mean the narrative for King of Spain just seems pretty weak and awkward...the music throughout is top-notch

Ehh....Mattson's voice is a lot more nasally and a lot more youthful. I think Bob Dylan's music is a lot more introspective in a philosophical way and I find Mattson's music to be a lot more hard-hitting and abrasive in a folky way.

the song Into the Stream is way better than anything here

wouldn't say that, but Into the Stream does rule. probably the best on Shallow Grave
