The two reasons I like Alligator better is it rocks harder and has less filler IMO.

Alligator is the only album of the big 3 that has a couple songs that I normally skip over, plus its production always irks me in small but considerable ways.

I currently have all 3 at 4.5, and I feel compelled to give out a 5, just not really sure which one it will be.

Alligator might have clicked right away but now I don't ever see it surprassing Boxer. The middle stretch in Alligator isn't very interesting, and I find myself skipping songs like "Baby We'll Be Fine" and "All The Wine". I don't skip anything on this album though, it's consistently awesome.
