The only problem with this is the margin of quality... it's got a great atmosphere that is unique within their discog, as all their albums are, but unlike their other albums which are kept consistently engaging by the sum of their parts, here you have some of MA's best material as well as their least inspired.

It makes songs like Rush Minute and Atlas Air seem even more uneventful by contrast than they would as standalones

Also I think the Splitting the Atom version of Psyche is vastly superior to the album version and wish it was included here instead.

Yeah, especially Rush Minute dragged way too much. I skipped those during my verifying spin. That 4 still feels applicable for me. By no means a bad album, they just have done better.

Also this album does get points for having the greatest album art, booklet, and packaging ever

Art is awesome, yeah! It's their best by far anyway (but I dislike the art for the first few, haha, so that's not saying much in my case).
