Well, thankfully all the instrumentalists are still currently together under the name "The Ghost Apparatus". They recently closed a crowd-funding campaign for their debut successfully, so hopefully 2014 has some of their music in store. They've released a couple tracks(one was a very rough demo) and they're pretty cool.

Yea that fb page has been acting pretty suspicious so hopefully they're hinting at a reunion. Drew is way too talented to give up singing. I've seen the band in interviews and they seem pretty nice. How were they in person?

The fact that they uploaded it to the rishloomusic YouTube channel makes me optimistic that it's a full-blown reformation.

They never gave a detailed explanation of it. During the Q&A they did on FB a while back David had said that Drew had seemingly lost motivation and wasn't contributing much to the LAGWBAT album. My guess is that it was depression of some sort, but who knows.
Speaking of David, I'm wondering if the vocals on this will be different due to originally being intended for him to sing. I assume they'll change up the melodies a bit at the very least, but it'll be interesting to hear regardless. Excited to find out where their sound goes from Feathergun.

so glad these guys reformed or else i wouldn't have given their music another chance. before they broke up i wrote them off as another dredg, volta, or fair to midland wanna be band but now I see that they are their own thing and I can't stop listening.

I checked out some of Eidolon and the vocals seem less developed and the production is way better on Feathergun.. you have this at a 4.5 so how could this have no staying power lol

Oh it certainly has staying power I didn't mean that haha. I loved his performance even more in eidolon because of how vulnerable he made his voice sound. It made him sound more human.
Scissorlips is certainly top five Rishloo track material though. Fucking brilliant.
