Broken and Arrivals are both lower tier Silverstein albums, but should still be likable for anyone who's into this band.

About half of Arrivals is really good and most of the rest I can do without.

This is awesome. Just picked this and 18 candles up for almost nothing and I'm really enjoying both. I like this band a lot better than I expected

So, what did they do? Did they change anything? Just re-record a bunch of stuff?

@Darius 10/10 troll

"So, what did they do? Did they change anything? Just re-record a bunch of stuff?"

They didn't change anything in any of the songs. They re-recorded 12 of their older tracks.

It sounds good and I dig it but it honestly feels pretty pointless

i mean the shipwreck and arrivals re-recordings feel useless but the stuff from the first two waaaaay benefit with a modern production style plus shane has improved dramatically as a vocalist

your sword v my daggers re-recording pushed it from like top 10 to top 1

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I'm annoyed that they didn't just re-record WBIEF in its entirety.

I think the only thing I care about is the Bleeds No More redo. Smashed Into Pieces pretty much sounds like the same recording they did a while back and I already have that.

Does seem a little pointless, I guess, but it is kind of fun idea for a 'greatest hits' type of comp.

Agreed tho, would have just preferred an entire re-recording of debut album over that.

the debut is def the most improved concerning production but the discovering the waterfront versions are huge steps up too

I wish they would have got Liam to come back to do vocals for Vices

I didn't really think there was that much 'improvement' on anything other than debut tracks. I thought Smile In You Sleep sounded kind of weird on new recording. Preferred the original, really.

Wait... I think it is in a different tuning. Probably downtuned so Shane doesn't have to sing so high. Might be why I think it sounds off.
