these guys never really hit me the way they seem to for everyone else but just rejammed this and it kinda blew me away, particularly sleeper 1972 and colly strings but its all pretty wonderful

This album makes me stupid giddy

Colly Strings is maybe the most joyous uplifting thing I've ever heard

bc it's both a simile and a paradox at the same time, ez enough to bury colton

would probs score it a light 6.5-7/10. good album though

Nice 5 yo

I'm coming back to Black Mile rn

I remember it boring me many years back when I first heard it but I also had a lesser appreciation for all things not m/ at the time so who knows maybe I'll dig it now

Black Mile actually didn't fully click for me til last year! It gives this a run for its money as their best now imo

Yeah I'm already really dig it upon relisten. It's really subtle and a little more subdued but it's filled with so many cool electronic embellishments and some seriously sharp percussion. I think this is the first time I've really loved the drumming on an indie rock record?
