The build in Rockets Fall sounds like an apocalypse.

I know it's blasphemy for most here, but I think this is their best. I mean Atennas is amazing but if anything they're tied.

yep, that title goes to asunder.

i bet yanqui would have enjoyed a much better reception if it wasn't for "09-15-00".

nah that title goes to allelujah but agreed 09-15-00 might've been off-putting to some gy!be fans at the time

I feel like the main detriment to this release is that the usage of silence/emptiness isn't really as tasteful/"artistic" as the previous releases. there are some great ideas/parts in 09-15-00, but sooo much of it could have been cut. the second part isn't even necessary.

rocket falls should be about 4 minutes shorter. love the middle/buildup section(s) though--very holst.

I'd say the only track that is really superbly put together and utilizes all of its time is Motherfucker=Redeemer. The split on the CD edition reveals something very curious about the track: it is probably the best example of them having standalone "movements" that also function perfectly as solo tracks. to be fair, the single track edition makes Part Two roughly 15 minutes long, but still.
