my ideology is that most musicians that i'd listen to would rather me listen to their music without paying than the alternative (considering i'm a poor college kid, that would be not listening at all). and if they don't then they're just cunts that i wouldn't want to support by buying their stuff anyway
i do buy cd's though still, i just don't have enough money to throw around for how much music i want to listen to
