Just plain awesome album. Each song reflects a different part of pink floyd, and for that, it is awesome. I also like how it is less processed with too many effects than other albums.

nice one for not over-rating money, the most over-rated song in the history of over-rating... it's actually my least favourite pink floyd song

Pink Floyd is the kind of band that ignores all of your friendly invitations, staring at you all the while with malicious eyes before violently pouncing on you as you turn to go. As a matter of fact, Pink Floyd made me a man.

I like every track, which is great because they all tie together. I might be in the minority here but I personally think that the second half of the album is superior to the first half. From Us and Them on the music just gets so spacey and trippy, it's a great experience.

I completely agree. I was baffled when I read Iai's sound off. I think Brain Damage is possibly the best track. The second half has a lot of song with really awesome climaxes, and I don't find it boring at all.

i believe this album's so out there, compared to most things before the time this album was released [the beatles' sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band is just as psychedelic]. i used to think that pink floyd was music for pure stoners. but after being exposed to Pink Floyd's The Wall [the movie] i really opened my mind about this album as well, even though i dont smoke and get high. DSOTM's philosophical lyrics cause me to ponder, and the lengthy guitar solos are just addicting. this album is tie with The Wall, for me.
