Greatest metal band of all time. They more or less invented thrash at the very least perfected it and brought it to everyones attention. Went on to drop all time iconic albums such as ride the lightning and master of puppets. Then for better or worse made the black album and brought metal to the mainstream in a way that wasn't before. Not only did they have a massive influence and basically made the blueprint for every band since the 80s to the present day they really made metal music a household genre. Where would metal be today without kill em all ? Or master of puppets ? Or the black album? Metal music would be different landscape gaurenteed. Most iconic metal band in history the goats.
