averages for their albums besides the debut are so fucked, most of its good, some really out-there noisy guitar sounds. the guitarist from medicine also played in a very cool LA post punk band called Savage Republic

Agreed - I feel like it wasn’t till that 00s/10s that more overt MBV clones started showing up in droves/the ones who aped MBV more in the 90s tended to be US bands
