Again, that's the problem with internet, early leaks and consequently, early reviews. I bet you'd be amazed after really listening to the record.

Though probably not

I can't believe that most of the people on this page have listened to the real deal of the record.
I have a legit, LAME encoded V0 rip.

Does anyone else's ears perk up when you listen to the real album and don't hear the watermark where it was on the leak?

@ thegoddamnbatman
The digital release is much better quality so obviously all the songs sound better, but it isn't so different to make someone change their mind about their album. The notes are still all the same, just sounds more full.

I just hope that people that have been listening to the leaks give this record a real chance.
It's out there, you can buy it and support it, but what it's important is getting to listen the record with the proper quality. Anyone that got this before last night have actually listen the record how it was suppose to.

@someguest
It's okay, someguest, what pisses me off is people writing off this record after listening to crappy 320 kbps transcoded myspace rips.

I wonder what day 1 sales were like.

Stop ragging on people for "writing off this record after listening to crappy 320 kbps transcoded myspace rips". Sure, production makes a big difference, but not that big of a difference. The music is the same. If a user rates it a 3.5, they're not likely going to change it just because they've heard a bigger, fuller version. Ferchrissakes, it's the same music.
Just saying.

Haha, yeah right. This is an album reviews forum, asshole. I'm not here to gain or give blowjobs to the other users. You don't have to like me, I don't need to be loved here. Let's get back to the music, shall we?

I've listened to the promo copy so many times that in my mind I say "You are listening to a Vagrant Records advanced promotional stream" while I'm listening to the non watermarked files.

Actually, I was talking about you and your "social network". I don't need virtual friends, dude. Do you?

@prophet178
Thank you, I've been waiting for someone to agree with me.
And guys...to be completely honest I think moods would be a little better if blowjobs were a more common thing. I think people's biggest reason why they didn't like the album so much is that they lost a lot of their harder edge from VHEISSU, which is perfectly valid. I hope you can agree that if you like heavier music and don't get into the more ethereal stuff and you get songs like wood & wire, you're going to be disappointed no matter the quality of the recordings.

At least its better than The Alchemy Index

Nah, I like this a lot too. Just recently I started appreciating it. It keeps growing better for me and while Alchemy Index was really interesting, this is easier to revists already
