I saw these guys on that He is Legend / dragonforce / KsE tour from like '07 or whatever it was. They played after HiL, blew them off the stage. Were easily the most badass of all the bands there.
I think that was my 21st birthday.

it hurts knowing they reunited and were going to record a new album last year and then COVID hit and it completely fell apart.

Yeah dude. They aren't my favorite by any means, but when I was really into nu-metal I saw the Down Again video and then bought the album the next day. These dudes are probably a lot more instrumental than I've given them credit for in getting me into heavier shit.

This band will always hold a special place for me. One of the first "heavy" bands I really got into. Still love their earlier records on ocassion too.

I remember my drummer friend in highschool losing his mind over Kevin Tally's drumming on this

I love Rob Arnold solos

It's good too (I like their debut as well) but this one is on a different level for me.

Agreed on them being a great gateway band into the heavy! They definitely played a part for me. This album rules. Resurrection is just as good imo also. Sturdy stuff here indeed. Used to own all of their stuff on CD up until The follow up to Resurrection (blanking on the name at the moment and I'm lazy). Thought it was cool they just used the same little logo with a different background color on every disc art
