Slaughter of Innocence is an unstoppable force

First two MC albums are just too damn good
|

the band has a track that outright calls black people animals and contains an heavy hard R n-word.
ive liked a few tracks this band has but they’re racist pieces of shit so I don’t even bother anymore.
the track is “they breed” off the fourth album if you’re curious, but be warned.

Aww man, that fuckin sucks to hear but I'm glad you said it. Had no idea these guys were a bunch of clowns.

Generic? Nah man, this shit slaps
“Die motherfucker” seems at first like he’s screaming for the motherfucker to die, but if you truly analyze the song and put your thinking cap on, you’ll see that he’s actually making an allusion to an old, 17th century French painting

They Breed is indeed pretty damn not good. He's also had interviews in the past that are just as bad. See page 11 somebody linked them there. I was actually going to see them with Incantation a few years ago but these things resurfaced and the tour got scratched with just Incantation rescheduling later on

Actually he's speaking German. As you know, "die" translates to "the" so he is simply providing commentary to the motherfuckers that existed in the year 1992.

Ah, yes, a fine interpretation. Scholars have been debating the true meaning for decades.

I remember reading an interview where Phil was trying to say that Jason was supposed to say something else and just "accidentally blurted out" the N word in "They Breed". He said the band kept it because it felt more "impactful" and that the word meant "slacker" to them. Can't say I've heard that one before.
Of course, I doubt anyone bought into that nonsense (or at least I'd hope not). But it's just funny looking at the article posted on page 11 considering Phil not only admits the band is racist, but says the word countless times himself.

Intrigued. I see this band over and over in reference on this site, and never took the time to dig some of their albums. I think, i will give it a shot.

This and The Ten Commandments are where it's at. Not saying don't check out other albums, but definitely start with those.

Agreed on this and Then Commandments bring the cream of the crop. I'd argue Stillborn is definitely worth some jamming too though. A lot of people don't dig it mostly due to the production it seems but it's still a real solid chunk of dm imo. The Will to Kill is also a pretty damn good release from their middle era. Envenomed isn't as good as the others mentioned but it isn't too shabby either but it was an earlier find for me so that might be the nostalgia talking

weirdly I was going to check this in the upcoming days, saw the bump and now may be reconsidering after seeing what's up there ^
...also, after hearing the above I'm not sure I'd trust a release by them titled 'Stillborn'
