gryomania you have no soul
it really annoys me when people don't get this. I gave this to a friend for a go, and he was like, "it sounds like 2 guys just mucking about with a guitar and a set of drums" (WELL DUH) in a way that implied that this obviously meant it was a terrible piece of music. then again, I think he secretly likes take that so
|
| |
err but this really isn't that special
|
| |
come on gyro why you gotta be like that
but i still love godspeed you! and mono, so we can still be friends
when people don't get this
i think that may be it, i prolly just lack the mental capacity or something

I couldn't agree more, Lewis. The end track isn't too bad.

as ive mentioned before, those tracks are whats stopping me from 5ing this.
gyro, you're doing that thing again where you revel in the fact you have a differing opinion and don't shut up about it

we built this city on rock and roll
|
| |
nah, i don't dislike this too much, i've only heard it once anyways. the final track is good, but it seems to be the highlight of the album which doesn't say much.
|
| |
i just play the low points louder than the other ones, lame as it sounds
|
| |
"Crazy/Forever" could be awesome 'hey it's a change in pace and sounds a little mature look his voice is deeper instead of wailing' but it's stretched the fuck outttttttttttt like seriously did they listen to that hour-long intro and think 'hmm, that's cool'

the fact that 'rockers east vancouver' comes right after those incredible first three tracks really irks me
