haha yeah boc was one of the formative groups that really helped me start changing my tune about electronic. and radiohead funnily enough.

I’m sure it’s possible to find a nice middle ground somewhere, I just know it.

that nice middle ground between metal and electronic arguably contains the majority of the worst music on the planet and i think that is an appropriate enough analogy for my feelings on you goddamn fence sitters

It's funny how that is with Radiohead. My buddy I just mentioned on the previous page adores Radiohead and also finds himself to be a very avid fan of most electronic music. Also Pots, Silent Shout is The Knife's highest rating but I'm curious why Shaking the Habitual is your favorite. I'll be listening to it regardless.

Silent Shout is like quintessential the Knife sounds and totally a classic but Shaking the Habitual is, imo, by a vast margin the most groundbreaking album of the decade

Gotcha, well when I listen to a new band I tend to dive into the entire discography so I'm looking forward to it.

I think you knew what I meant, lol. A literal amalgamation of the two ‘styles’ usually ends terribly. Doesn’t mean one cannot enjoy both. I refuse to pick a side Potsy!

don't skimp the early stuff either, it's a lot more conventional but for the most part it's still very good

n yeah i think radiohead seem to have that classic reputation reserved for lame 70s boomer bands so pretentious 14 year olds listen to them but they experiment with a ton more influences which inevitably spirals into finding who they were inspired by, making them a great gateway, in rainbows was def one of my early ones too

Yeah I heard ok comp at like age 14-15 and was like "HA GAY" but then I peeped In Rainbows when it came out and thought most of it was some pussy shit but would get to All I Need and Videotape and would be like "wtf kind of sorcery is this??"
