Metallica was Metallica. It was Not Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi was Great Too. And I'm Not Trying To bash This Album Too. I Think the Lyrics Were More Than Great. James' Vocals Evolved To A Much more Greater Scale. But After 4 Years Of Touring Fans Didn't Expect "Load"......$$$$

An excellent album from Metallica. I love the song "The Unforgiven" and "Of Wolf and Man". Kirk Hammett's amazing guitar work is most evident in "the God that failed" solo IMO.

7/12 of the allbum is great. The other 5 are boring. Enter Sandman is insanely overrated, though. It's good, but nothing mindblowing. The Unforgiven, My Friend Of Misery and The Struggle Within are the best of this album, IMO.

This is in no way as bad as St. Anger.

With St. Anger, there is always something bad going on, whereas with this there is nothing is really going on, so i'd actually perfer St. Anger to this.

Perferring that album is incomprehensibly effed up.

at least St. Anger can keep my interest for a slight amount of time (for the wrong reasons, but still)

i just farted and it smelt like brussel sprouts
meanwhile this album is another example of metallica being painfully average

It was good when I was 14, but I'll probably never listen to it again, other than 'My Friend of Misery'.

Might go down again sometime, but recently I'm digging every song on this.
