Motley Crue? Yes? Queensryche? Rush?

a selection of 5's as predictable as they are dull. Probably 1000 dudes with exactly the same dad rock nerdo codswallop on the site

This is widely regarded as one of the most laughably inept rock albums of the last ten years and sold diddly, to me it sounds over produced cheesy sub Elton John nonsense, you have it 3.5'd so I don't think we're looking for the same thing

Hey you know I love you Titan, but I'd rather take David Bowie, Nick Drake, Nirvana, R.E.M., Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins and Talking Heads over AC/DC, King Diamond, Motley Crue, Yes and Queensryche.

Checking up on other people's 5's is rude though, sorry to you both.

That being said, you're also my bud Doof but this rules in an extravagantly cheesy way.

Yeah Dan, i think what people forget on the site is thinking somethings crap and also enjoying it aren't mutually exclusive.

I think this is a fun cheesy listen...but it's also very bad

I personally despise Rose's voice, so it's weird that this feels pretty decent. Nothing overly special, but not bad.

Coming back to select tracks, and that surprises me. Might bump to a 3.5.

not very much, yeh

review lists two of the better songs as obvious duds and leaves If the World alone like it's not incredibly terrible

Yeah this is pretty good actually, 'there was a time' is my fave here.

It has some good tracks but mostly is ruined by the overproduction

It is overproduced af, but i actually think that adds to the appeal of some of the songs, in spite of ruining a couple of others ahah.

I don't personally feel it interferes all that much. At least, not to the point that it takes away from the album on a significant scale.

Honestly, a better suggestion from my point of view to fix up issues would be to cut a few of the weaker tracks out entirely. 71 minutes is quite long for the style of the album, and there are some weaker tracks. Cut out If the World, Sorry, and maybe Catcher in the Rye, and it might feel less overbearing with length. Honestly though, Catcher in the Rye is still an alright track. If the World and Sorry are probably the only two songs here I would say I outright dislike.

Never fully understood the hatred for Scraped, it's probably in the better half of the album for me.
